Ortofon OM 5E MM Cartridge With Elliptical Diamond

The OM 5E is a true icon of the affordable vinyl playback world, offering great sound at a low price. The OM 5E offers a minimal design profile for easy mounting and alignment. As well as being easy to fit to any tonearm/headshell system, the OM 5E cartridge also benefits from a removable weight, housed above the mounting bracket. For standard tonearms you can leave the weight in place. However, for low-mass tonearms you have the ability to remove it, reducing the overall cartridge weight to just 2.5g.

The OM 5E features an Elliptical (E) stylus that provides balanced and distortion-free playback. Elliptical diamonds are able to follow the groove oscillations more accurately than spherical diamonds due to their contoured shape. This results in better tracking and less distortion.

Replacement Styli

There are a number of upgrade stylus options available including the Stylus 5E, Stylus 10, Stylus 20, Stylus 30, Stylus 40 and the 78 RPM Stylus 78.

Easy and perfect fit for 2017 and 2018 Honda CRV with 1.5l engines. You need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws holding the airbox. After that you just remove the old one and put the new one in the same orientation and put the screws back on. Helps the engine breathe which can result in slightly more power and mpg. I recommend changing every few years.
